This week's news

How? How is it already 2024? A quick look back tells me it was a rough year for me. Three surgeries, a cancer diagnosis (stage one in case you missed it, thank goodness!!) a battle with MRSA and all while dealing with life alone because the old man was deployed. He's not deployed but he's still not home. Now we have the joy of dealing with the Soldier Recovery Unit. As for me for now, I'm writing. Spending what time I can with him, despite the 8 hour each way drive. and writing. In fact, I should get back to that part, before I have to leave for work.
