Bandcamp Friday means no extra fees

Hey friend,

Every once in a while, Bandcamp does this thing called "Bandcamp Friday," which means they don't take their cut off the sales.

100% of the money (other than payment processing fees) goes to the artist.

So, I thought I'd share the artists I'm supporting and what albums I'm picking up today.

First is Moodie Black, "the Nine Inch Nails of hip hop." I like their album F U Z Z, but you can get their entire catalog for $24 (75% off). They also own a food truck and had or still have a restaurant.

Next is Terzij de Horde, a metal band from the Netherlands. Disclosure: I am friends with the drummer, but that doesn't change the fact that they are my new favorite metal band. I'm getting In One of These, I Am Your Enemy, which is only three songs, but I am a sucker for tracks over 10 minutes long, which has two of those.

Third, I'm grabbing Misuso's album Friends & Family, which I describe as classic underground hip-hop. It reminds me of something Stones Throw Records or maybe even Def Jux would have put out.

If you want to support my music, here's what I've got:

If you like Instrumental Hip Hop, check out the beatMage: https://megabyteghost.bandcamp.com/album/a-day-at-the-carnival-with-the-beat-mage

If you prefer Industrial music, check out megabyteGhost: https://megabyteghost.bandcamp.com/album/dead-mans-switch

And if you like Dark Ambient music, check out Prefecture.Audio: https://megabyteghost.bandcamp.com/album/prefecture-audio-ii-swamp

Any artist will appreciate any little you spend, and any money I make through Bandcamp goes directly to launching the new record label.

Whether you pick up some new music or not, have a great weekend!

-Garrett, aka the beatMage, aka megabyteGhost, aka Prefecture.Audio
