It's June Already?

I can't believe it's already June. School is out, summer is underway...my kids are back from vacation and already at Day Camp for the first adventure of the summer. Time is flying!


As it goes, it's always a good idea to spend some special time with your significant other. Here are a few suggestions:


  1. Slingshot: 2024 MFA in Mildred Lane Kemper Art Museum(May 3rd - July 29th) at the Explore St. Louis. This exhibition showcases the work of graduating Master of Fine Arts students from Washington University School of Art & Art History.
  2. Paris in June(June 11th) in Town and Country. This annual event features French-themed food, drinks, music, and shopping.
  3. St. Louis Water Garden Society's Pond-O-Rama(June 22nd & 23rd) This event features a self-guided tour of stunning water gardens in the St. Louis metro area.
  4. Shakespeare in the Park: As You Like It(May 29th - June 23rd) at Forest Park. The St. Louis Shakespeare Festival presents a free production of Shakespeare's classic comedy "As You Like It".
  5. Juneteenth Celebration(June 19th) in St. Louis. Juneteenth commemorates the emancipation of enslaved African Americans in the United States. St. Louis has a large and vibrant African American community, and there are many Juneteenth celebrations held throughout the city.-
  6. Gateway to the West Air Show(June 8-9th) at Spirit of St. Louis Airport. This air show features a variety of military and civilian aircraft, including demonstrations, exhibits, and pyrotechnics. The Blue Angels will be there.
  7. St. Louis Cardinals(Check for specific dates in June) at Busch Stadium. They aren't having their best year ever, but games are still a good time. if you're looking for a more affordable and laid back baseball adventure, check out the Gateway Grizzlies.
