Woohoo 3 for 3!

Do you ever feel like your life is boring ?

I do.

I know that’s probably not the right way to set up this email. After all, you just opened it in hopes I’d say something interesting or give you a little tidbit you can use to help make planning a wedding easier.

Don’t worry, my friend. I’ll do both. I was just saying sometimes I feel like my life is boring, but then I think “Wait, no it’s not."

This weekend I hung out with my kids, sat in with a local band, prepped for 3 Scout meetings this week, and submitted some images to a magazine for publication.

Okay, that was the interesting thing ^^^…

Now, here’s a tip to help you make wedding planning…

Make friends.

You know, like when you signed up for my email list and now we chat once a week. 

When you make friends, it makes it a lot easier. You can bounce ideas off each other, get your questions answered quickly, and really just encourage each other in your journey. Oh, and of course, my favorite: Save money.

Yep. Having wedding friends can save you money. You can borrow, buy their used for cheaper, etc. 

It’s like having a library for your wedding…with friends! (PS - I'm working on a library of wedding planning stuff here, or jump on this list for a few more)

If you don’t know anyone yet….that’s not true because you know me.

Second, go to Facebook and look up some local groups I tried starting this one once upon a time - maybe we could resurrect it? There's also this one specifically for Southern Illinois. Then head over to IG and look up some local hashtags.

Voila! Your wedding planning friend list will start to grow. 

And if all else fails, just hit reply. I might know someone in your area.
