Hard to believe Jeep season is already back in full swing! I know things get hectic this time of year, so I wanted to reach out and see how your inventory is looking. From trackbars to Coils, Baller Joints and steering kits, we’re seeing these move fast, and I want to make sure you have your go-to parts on hand before our turnaround times start to tighten up. We see a constant outflow of these parts to some of our jobbers, so make sure you've got what you need.

New Product Alert

We recently released a new kit with a slightly lower price point. This kit is a slimmed down True Dual rate kit and we're calling it the Basecamp kit. It retains the use of the factory trackbars by implementing a few brackets, therefore keeping the cost down a little.

The selling point for this and our Base Camp kit, or even the True Dual Rate kit is that:

1. You get adjustable upper control arms for caster corrections and our patented Duroflex joints
2. True Dual rate coils for better on-road manners and amazing flex off-road.
3. This kit brings you into the Metalcloak family and provides an opportunity to upgrade the remaining arms later. This almost always guarantees that the customer will be coming back for an upgrade at a later date.
4. Educate your customers about our Duroflex joints, particularly the ride quality, minimal maintenance and amazing longevity. It's also worth noting that most of our jobbers don't stock our joints... because they DON'T HAVE TO! vs, some of the "other" manufacturers that have joints going bad every 15-20k miles and must be kept in stock.

Features and Benefits: The Ability to SELL!

We haven't been great at educating YOU, the jobber, about why our products are what they are. You all understand and see that it performs well and installs well, but the technology behind the product doesn't get conveyed as well as it should so that you and your team can sell it. I will try to do a better job of highlighting features and benefits on products, providing you also take the time to share that with your team.

Last week, we rolled out a great video regarding our coils that might be worth watching. It provides some hard data and selling points that will help you sell our coils and suspension to your customers, while at the same time, calling the bluff of some of our competitors.
