First Things First: Got Eternal Life?

In marriage, "all circumstances" will come.

If we belong to Christ Jesus, it is God's will for us to be thankful in all circumstances.

Fortunately...

We have someone to be thankful with.

Someone to encourage us when we don't want to be thankful.

And someone to encourage when they don't want to be thankful.

And for that...

We can be thankful 🥰

1 THESSALONIANS 5:18

"Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus."

QUESTIONS TO ASK:

When it comes to being thankful...

What are the circumstances where I could most encourage my spouse?

What are the circumstances where I could most use some encouragement from my spouse?

How can I encourage my spouse TODAY to be thankful?

PRAYER: Heavenly Father, thank you. It's not always easy to be thankful. So thank you for a partner to help me when it's hard. And thank you for the opportunity to help him/her when it's hard for him/her. Give us your wisdom and discernment in knowing how to best encourage each other. When to give a word. And when to just listen. Let our relationship reflect and glorify your Love for us. In Jesus' name Amen.
