Happy New Year

If you are planning travel to Europe in 2024, then you may like to know that the Schengen zone has been expanded. Now the border-free zone will include Bulgaria and Romania.

These two additions follow on from Croatia who joined the Schengen area last January.

Bulgaria and Romania will join the EU’s passport-free Schengen air and sea travel zone in March 2024. Until then, you will still be processed at the border. For now, no Visa is required for a 90-day visa.

If you are interested, like us, in travelling to countries with an ancient mixture of history, foods and language. Then instead of classic Europe, you will find Eastern Europe a rewarding travel experience.
