This newsletter has also turned into one of the biggest commitments I've ever made.

As I approach my 100th training edition, I aim to improve this newsletter to better serve your needs now and in the future. That means, I'll be changing a few things here.

Which email marketing software I'm considering

I’ve been on a journey to find the best platform to harmonize with my needs and perhaps, you might be on a similar quest.

I’ve shortlisted four potential candidates, and I've outlined them briefly here:

ConvertKit is known for its creator-friendly platform. They also have a strong emphasis on creator-audience relationships.

Beehiiv is a rising star that focuses on delivering personalized customer experiences.

Gist Email offers a bit of everything, and it's the app I currently use for my help articles and live chat.

Wix Email Marketing (formerly Wix Ascend) is a part of the extensive suite of tools made by Wix that integrates seamlessly with their website builder.

Out of all these tools, Wix Email Marketing is the easiest to use. However, my goal is to find a software that aligns with all of my priorities.

How I determined my goals for this newsletter

Here are a few of my priorities that I feel will create a more human interaction than traditional email marketing:

Personalization:

Personalization allows for a deep, individual connection rather than a generic approach. This educational training series aims to personalize content based on your current learning stage, and change with you. This will involve surveys to understand your needs and preferences. This level of personalization is rarely found, and I'm excited about the opportunity to help you at every stage throughout your learning journey.

Segmentation:

Segmentation will help me ensure that the content delivered is relevant and valuable to you. Sending a one-size-fits-all content won't cater to the diverse interests and needs of each individual. By implementing detailed segmentation techniques such as shared interests, past purchases, etc. I can deliver tailored content that improves your learning experience.

Ease of email builder:

Using an easy-to-use email builder to create templates will simplify my newsletter creation process. By designing templates in advance that fit my content, I will be able to add even more intention into each edition. This saves time, maintains consistency, and promotes brand recognition.

How to determine your own goals

Your goals for email marketing may differ from mine and that’s okay, it’s all about finding the tool that serves your business best.
