3 Ways to Build Awesome Communities
Dec 09, 2021 6:01 am
Hi ,
This week I'll be sharing 3 different resources focused all around community building. The series is inspired by Jason Fried's called Heard Something, Read Something, Saw Something.
Below you'll see 3 different ways you can learn about starting your own community:
one you can read, another to listen to, and a final guide to watch.
📚 The Community Manual | Tom Ross
The Community Manual, written by Tom Ross, provides a roadmap on how to build thriving communities. It has everything you need, including tips for finding the right platform and strategies that will bring people together in meaningful ways. Tom wrote this 174 page manual, and then shared it completely for free. So, if you're thinking of learning how to get started, I couldn't suggest a better resource.
Tom Ross is the Founder and CEO at DesignCuts.com, a community of 500,000 creatives, and he also runs two podcasts in Biz Buds and The Honest Designer Show.
In full transparency, I'm not fully finished reading this manual yet… I would love to hear your thoughts on it too. Write me.
