The magic of setting your intentions

Transform your business with the power of intention setting.

Hey ,

It can be easy for me to get caught up in the day-to-day tasks and responsibilities of running a business.

You too?

Sometimes I need to stop and think about what it is that I actually want to accomplish?

That's where the power of setting intentions comes in.

Intentions are different than goals. They focus on the energy and attitude you bring to the task, rather than what you assign to the outcome.

When you set intention, you align yourself with your values and vision for your business.

This helps you stay motivated and focused on what truly matters to you.

Here are a few tips for setting intentions:

  1. Make them specific and measurable. Instead of saying "I want to be successful," try "I want to bring in $X in revenue this month by offering X services."
  2. Write them down and review them regularly. Having a physical reminder of your intentions helps you stay accountable and focused.
  3. Share your intentions with a friend or accountability partner. You will have someone to check in with, and they will hold you accountable to your goals. This can help keep you motivated and on track towards achieving your intentions. πŸ‘‹πŸΌ I'm happy to be this person for you.
  4. Set intentions for different areas of your life. Your business is one part of who you are. Consider setting intentions for your personal growth, relationships, and well-being.

Here's one from an artist I work with:

"My intention for this week is to create a new series of paintings that reflect my passion for environmental conservation. I will spend at least two hours each day focused on this project and will set aside any distractions or tasks that do not align with this intention. By the end of the week, I will have completed at least three new paintings and will have shared them on social media to showcase my message and reach a wider audience."

Take a few minutes to think about what your intentions are for your business and personal life.

β˜•οΈ Or, schedule a free coffee chat with me and discuss setting intentions in more detail.

Enjoy,

Matt

P.S. I'm hosting a goals-focused workshop in the upcoming weeks to help you set your own intentional goals in 2023.
