How many pages does your website need to be effective?

This question is often on the minds of many clients I've worked with.

Let's approach this from a different angle. Instead of focusing on the number of pages, consider these critical questions:

• What is the purpose of this page on my website?
• How does this page help me run my brand?
• How does this page help my audience?
• Is the content on this page solving a specific problem?

In screenwriting, if a scene doesn’t 1) reveal more about a character or 2) drive the story forward, it’s best left out.

This principle can be seamlessly applied to your business.

Use this same filter to make informed decisions about your website's content, email marketing, and social media strategies.

Think of it this way:

1. The "Character": This represents you or your business.
2. The "Story": This is the impact you’re creating for others and the world.

Every page should contribute to either showcasing who you are or advancing what you want to do for others.
