Did you know that you can create a website from your mobile phone?

Well, yes Matt—you just told me now.

With Wix, you won't even need a computer to get started. Let's begin.

1. Download the Wix Owner app from the App Store for iOS or Play Store for Android.
2. Then, create a Wix account or log into your existing one. By the way, reply if you have hard time remembering your passwords, as I'm happy to share a few tips on that too.
3. Once logged in, you'll either be presented with the option get started and a button that says: "Create New", or you'll see your existing website dashboard. If you already have a Wix website, you'll need to tap the name of your site at the top (first picture below). Then, you'll see the "Create New" button at the bottom (like those of us who don't already have a website).

And now… the fun begins. 🙌🏽

Oh… I almost forgot. You won't break anything, blow it up, or lose your work. You can always undo, and you can even create a fake business website—like I do—to practice (watch mine at the end of this email). So, my task for you is to have fun with this.

You'll want to follow the steps from Wix directly inside the Wix Owner app for the best experience and success. However, I've provided a few of my tips below.

• When starting, you'll get to choose a site name. Don't worry, it doesn't have to be perfect. You can change it anytime.
• Then, you get to pick your site's features. Again, these can be added later on, but it's important to choose what you need now. If it's something you need, like a store for your candle shop or a blog for your travel stories—select it when Wix asks what you want to use (see image below for the most popular Wix features). Then, move to the next step.

• Once you've chosen these features, Wix will do some magic and design the site for you. And when Wix is done, you'll see your site—ooh ahh! Plus 3 options at the bottom of your phone's screen: Pages, Themes, and More.

• Pages: Here is where you'll find all the pages that Wix has added for your (based on your selections). You can add/edit/remove both the pages and the content on them.
• Themes: How do I look? Think of themes like your phone's photo editor. They're quick filters to apply to your site, such as: changing colors and fonts. Choosing an option changes how your entire site looks. No worries, with one tap, you can go back to the one you liked before.
• More: This menu shows you your Wix account, and provides quick access to features like the amazing Wix help support center.
• If you see something on your website you want to change or edit, just tap on it like you would tap on an email or a text message you've received. Wix will show you only the tools you need to edit that section, image, text box, etc.
• Once you like it, and I'm sure I will too, Preview or Publish that site to go live! 🚀
