Don't Be Addicted To Tomorrow
Dec 31, 2025 4:57 pm
Dear Family,
With less than 24 hours left in the year, I keep coming back to this reminder from legendary college football coach Nick Saban:
“All of us are a little bit addicted to tomorrow. I’ll quit smoking tomorrow, I’ll go on a diet tomorrow, I’ll lose weight tomorrow, I’ll start studying tomorrow. But really, making it happen today is the way you improve. That’s the way we’ll get better. That’s the way you’ll create more value for yourself, and that will really help our team get a lot better, as well.” - Saban
New Year’s Eve has a way of pulling us forward.
New goals. New plans. New promises.
That’s not a bad thing.
It's just that progress doesn’t come from obsessing over January 1st.
It comes from how you show up right now (yes today!) The conversations you have, the habits you keep, the people you’re present with.
As the year turns, my wish for you is simple: less pressure about what’s next more presence in what’s here.
Wishing you and your family peace, health, and blessings in the year ahead.
From Matt & Madison
Wishing You all a Happy New Year!
