This is the PERFECT time of year to read this book because it's set in October, there are spOoky ghostly incidents (but it's not really scary), an ornery cat named Bob, and time-related shenanigans.

In other news, I've been having to spend time away from the computer (and reading and writing which is sort of killing me) because I had eye surgery a couple weeks ago--don't worry, nothing serious! Just PRK (which is like LASIK but for people with thin corneas--I blame my mother). The recovery time is a bit longer than with regular LASIK because my corneas are still healing.

I have brand new eyes! Little baby cornea cells! I can see my alarm clock when I wake up in the morning! It's sort of miraculous really, as someone who has worn glasses since the tender age of 6, I've never really been able to see the world clearly and that is slowly changing :D

Anyway, I will keep you all updated once I've figured out what I'm working on next! In the mean time, take care and have a lovely Halloween.
