Christmas Is Coming - Are You Winding Down or Winding Up?

Nov 24, 2025 2:15 am

Hi friends, clients, and fellow 2025 survivors,

We've arrived at that magical time of year when half the world is gently winding down…

And the other half (hi, it’s me 👋🏼) is quietly winding up.

If you're one of the lucky ones easing into rest, feet up, iced coffee in hand... bless you, if you're one of the other ones whose brain will finally have enough space to start generating 47 new business ideas per hour... solidarity.

Because here's the thing no one tells you:

Sometimes rest makes room for creativity to start sprinting.

And as much as I love innovation… I do not have the science-backed ability to clone myself enough times to execute everything my brain dreams up.

Fortunately... and somewhat ironically... this is where AI genuinely shines.

Not in replacing humans.

Not in writing your soul's work for you.

Not in giving you generic content sludge.

But in helping you turn your December ideas into January action.

🎄 If You're Winding Down… Consider This

Now is actually the perfect time to lay the foundation for your next quarter.

Rest doesn't mean doing nothing.

Rest means giving your brain the space to think strategically instead of reactively.

Use that space.

Capture the ideas.

Capture the clarity.

Capture the spark.

And then don’t pressure yourself to execute.

You can hand it over to your future self…

or to your team… (or us, we're still here, doing things, pushing buttons)

or, let's be honest, to your ChatGPT (whom I hope you've renamed... mine is Juniper 🌿).

🎁 A Simple AI Prompt Framework for Your December Brainwaves

If you want January You (or your team) to succeed, here’s the three-part structure I use for every high-impact AI prompt:

1. What is the outcome I want?

This is your destination.

If you don’t name it, no AI can help you get there.

2. What body of expertise do I need?

AI isn’t a mind-reader.

You have to tell it what role to play.

3. What is a realistic timeline involving humans?

(And yes, humans remain the bottleneck. Bless us, but it’s true.)

Once you know those three things, you build your prompt backwards.

Here's an example:

Hey Co-Pilot/ChatGPT, I want to have a course ready for my team to build in January. What do they need to do to complete this within a month? I have four team members with a mix of web, design, and marketing skills. I need you to act as a project manager with 10 years’ experience in building online courses. I want my course finished, recorded, and published by the end of December.

See what's happening there?

You're giving AI a full brief in the order a human project manager would ask the questions, not the order your December brain would spit them out. This is how you leverage AI without letting it derail your very human planning.

So, Whether You're Winding Down or Winding Up…

Take the pressure off.

Take the ideas seriously.

And take advantage of having a thinking partner available 24/7 who never gets tired, overwhelmed, or covered in glitter from Christmas concerts.

Let AI help you shape your ideas into something your January self won’t resent you for.

Warmly (and slightly caffeinated),

Ming

p.s. If you know anyone who wants a new website or is planning for 2026? We work through the December break (we take the public holidays off) because, for some reason or another, this is our busiest time of year. The best thing to do is to direct them to the Marketing Jumpstart website https://marketingjumpstart.com.au to book a call. Thanks, gang x
