Running off to the woods...

Hey awesome,

How's your September going? I'm struggling with the fact that it is the end of the month, the end of summer, the end of our time up here in New England...

Whew. Though I'm not that disappointed to get back to lovely 65-70 degree days and slightly chilly nights. I don't suppose there's anywhere that has that kind of weather year round, is there?

Other than the impending departures, September's been pretty great so far for me - weather included. I have three - three! - releases this month. The Lyons' Pride and The Valkyries Initiative are out in the wild, and World Enders will be out there next week, somehow (September 23!).

My new-ish tradition for launch day - over the last four launches or so - is to post about the book, then run off to the woods for a bunch of hours. That way I'm distracted by nature, get a solid hike in, aaand don't lose the whole day refreshing the book's page to see what people thought.

I mean, to be fair, refreshing does happen, but heading out to the woods helps keep me a little more centered and far less anxious. Plus I get pictures like these, so no complaints.

Bright side, the reviews so far for both The Lyons' Pride and The Valkyries Initiative have been lovely. Did you check them out? I'd love to hear what you thought!

Releases will calm down for a bit after World Enders next week, but I'm hard at work on a handful of new projects so there will - of course! - be more to come. In the meantime, I'd never leave you hanging - check out the selection of free reads for this week!

Tell me your faves - as always, my TBR list is bonkers, but that never stops me from adding awesomeness.

Til next time,

Marisa
