4 days without electricity during Storm Eowyn taught me this: 𝐓𝐫𝐮𝐞 𝐧𝐞𝐭𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐩𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐨𝐟𝐟 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐢𝐭.

Today, I booked a hair appointment because of a relationship built over years with the owner of a hairdressing business.  Too many customers and not enough availability.

𝐌𝐲 𝐡𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐫, 𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐢𝐬 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫 𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬, 𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐳𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐝 𝐧𝐞𝐭𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤/𝐜𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐝𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐬. I am one of those customers.

She is having a business boom due to customers and new customers 𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚 𝐡𝐚𝐢𝐫 𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐯𝐞𝐬 𝐮𝐩.
