Recently, I was asked this question.
How do you balance your business and personal life?
I thought that this information would be helpful since we all have different lifestyles and different life situations.
I have been balancing my business and family life since 1996 when I started as an entrepreneur in another industry before I became a business strategy coach.
Here is what helps me:
I write the priority events, calls, and tasks on my calendar or activity tracker.
I also have my hobbies that I love to do, knitting, gardening, and baking.
I used to do Pokémon but ever since we started looking for a house and moved between October 2023 and February 2024, Charles and I just did not have the time to attend the Sunday Pokémon group events after church. This year, my focus was moving my mom and now I help her after church.
Your hobbies might change as your priorities change.
I will say this much about my choice of hobbies, knitting, gardening, and baking have remained a constant outlet for me.
For exercise I do like to dance, I need to do that more often.
I am curious...
What do you all do to create a work /life balance?
I find that my activity tracker is a great way to help prioritize and track my tasks especially when working on a project and with a team.

I always found that when I prioritize my tasks weather its business or personal, I find that I'm more productive.
