I'm not one to complain about the summer heat because I'm a sun worshiper, but this humidity is making it hard for even me to go outside. Gah! I don't wish colder temps, but I wish the humidity would go far, far away. Maine isn't usually this brutal.

I'll be attending the AMAZING reader event, RomantiConn, in Trumbull, CT on July 27th. It's a massive event with over 100 authors! You can get tickets to attend VIP lunches and panels, or just come for the book signing. I'll be at the Saturday signing from 12-4.

The characters are real and relatable, not perfect, but people you'd want to have in your life. It's a book well worth reading.

Another wonderful book in this series. The interaction between Abe and Camilla, was great. Throw in an adorable kid and this was a Hallmark read.

I've read all of Marianne Rice's books and Sound of Love is definitely one of my favorites. The story is so engaging. It has some great twists and turns sprinkled with steamy scenes, creating a combination that made it impossible to put the book down. Rice's main characters have depth and are so relatable that I am hoping for a sequel.
