Be still my heart

Welcome to my new email subscribers! I had quite an influx of wonderful readers sign up after chatting at local craft fairs this fall. Speaking of, today, one of my high school students approached me after class and mentioned he and his mom went to a craft fair a few weeks ago and saw me.

My first reaction was, how sweet that this 17-year-old young man went to a craft fair with his mother!

I expressed my disappointment at not seeing him, and he said his mom wanted to stop by my table, but there was a line, so they kept shopping. They never made it back to my table, but he asked if he could buy some of my books for his mother for Christmas because she loves to read.

Be. Still. My. Heart.

Men, this is how it's done. You observe the ladies in your life and take note of their interests, favorite foods, smells, hobbies, etc.

And chances are you'll find many of these items at a craft fair! I have two final events of the calendar year.

I'll be at the Waterboro Elementary School fair on Saturday, December 7th, and the Bonny Eagle Middle School fair on Saturday, December 14th. I hope to see you there!

And it wouldn't be a newsletter without some book recs. I hope you have enjoyed Ashton and Hannah's sweet love story, Tidings of Joy.

Also, be sure to check out my friend Lyra Parish's adorable new release, A Very Merry Nanny.

Happy reading and happy holidays, reader friends!
