Dear MPP Teacher,

It's been more than a week since you and your students became champions of ecology, by accomplishing a maximum of challenges for the Planet🌱🌍 We wanted to CONGRATULATE you and we also welcome the new people who joined us in this beautiful adventure! It seems that currently more than 20,000 teachers and students are playing Ma Petite Planète!

Below, you will find some information, including: the ranking and the general counter, the revelation of the first hidden challenge...

The general ranking

From the first tab of the Google sheet you received, you can find the link to the general ranking which includes the scores:

DISCOVER THE GENERAL RANKING

To find your class/school, go to the tab that interests you. Press the "CTRL" key on your keyboard, followed by the "F" key, at the top right of your screen, a small window will open: type in the name of your class, your school or your town to find you!

And since many of you are doing great things for the Planet, you will also find the number of bonus challenges you have completed together with common goals!

We are currently at over 140,903 bonus challenges! On the way to the ultimate goal 💪

You can of course share this general counter with your students to show them the strength of the collective 👫 It is TOGETHER that we manage to do great things (like the legend of the Hummingbird)!

Here is also a small overview of the top 10 classes (who have a pretty impressive average score at this stage 🤩 )

Revealing the 1st hidden challenge

This week, we unveil the first hidden challenge... it's about... "Dear future me"

This challenge consists of writing a letter (for the older students) or drawing a picture (for the younger ones) about the ecological commitments your students would like to make or about a more environmentally friendly society they imagine in 30 years' time.

Will their commitments have been made? Will the future society be as they imagine it? Greener? With more nature? It is up to the students to use their ideas and imagination...

Why is this important?

Creating imaginative ideas will make your students want to take action to protect the planet. This challenge will allow them to think about solutions and their vision of an ideal society, rather than thinking about negative scenarios that might demotivate them.

We will select some of them to make a great video recap of the edition! If you want to share them with us on Slack (in the #photos-anecdotes channel), you will need to have signed the image rights authorisation beforehand in case the pupils' faces appear (this authorisation is available on Slack).
