What A Mailcall!

Sometimes things just happen at once. In the space of a week I have received:

  • Rex Konsul adjustable slant bar razor
  • Supply SE razor
  • Blackland Era razor
  • Ming Shi 3000 adjustable razor
  • Simpson Trafalgar synthetic brush

Reviews coming soon to Sharpologist! If you have one of these items drop me a reply and let me know what you think of it; I'll be sure to mention it in the appropriate review.

Ethos

It's tough keeping up with the artisan shaving soap crowd. I finally caught up with Ethos Grooming Essentials and I'm glad I did!

I purchased a couple Ethos products to try out, the Lavender shave soap (in the "Standard" base) and the Mélange d’agrumes shave cream.

Truefitt & Hill Sandalwood

There are many great shaving creams on the market today for men to choose from, but there is something about Truefitt and Hill Sandalwood shave cream that stands out. It's not your typical old fashioned scent; it's a modern woodsy scent with notes of citrus and florals.

Scars And Shaving

There is a shaving nick or cut…then there is a more serious wound that leaves a scar. There are different types of scars, from surgical to natural. The type and size of the scar will determine what you should use when shaving over it–or whether you should shave over it at all.
