Have You Ever Had A Shave At A Barbershop?

Help me out with some research for a future Sharpologist article? I'm working on a post tentatively titled "Is A Barbershop Shave Worth It?" (after the overwhelmingly positive response I received from a previous email and survey form) and I'm looking for opinions of those who have actually experienced it.

For myself, it seems to be entirely dependent on the skill and experience of the individual barber. I've had some excellent shaves from local barbers...and some ghastly shaves from "barber spas" (I'm looking at you in particular, Truefitt & Hill in Chicago...)!
