What Is The Most Popular Double Edge Safety Razor Today?

A few years back I did some research to see if I could find out what double edge razor was the most popular by sales volume (not necessarily the "best" razor). No huge surprises in the top 10: the Merkur 34C and the Edwin Jagger DE89 had the lion's share. And that was the way it was for several years.

Then 2021 came along.

This year had a pretty significant shake-up in the top 10 list. Four out of the ten razors are new to the list. One of the four has been on the market for less than a year. The DE89 has dropped considerably...and the Merkur 34C has lost its perennial #1 spot!
