What Your Father Didn't Teach You About Shaving
Supply's New Razors (Plus A Giveaway)
Supply has launched a crowdfunding project on Kickstarter for two new razors, the Supply SE and the Supply Pro.
The Supply SE is aimed at, well, everyone. The Supply Pro is an adjustable (!) razor aimed at the shaving aficionado.
I was involved with testing some of the prototypes of the SE razor but the Pro took me by surprise!
The Supply SE is a single-edge razor much like their current “2.0” alloy razor but with "fins" that bear a passing resemblance to a double edge razor with an “open comb.”
But these fins are designed “to stop skin from getting stuck under the blade, while still allowing hair to cut clean.”
The Supply Pro is an adjustable razor, with a dial (unlike Supply 2.0’s swap-able base plates).
Supply also announced availability of their new "Black Label" Injector-style blades. These blades are made in a facility in Japan (unlike the current factories in the U.S. and China. I've been able to try one of these new blades and I think they are very good!
And to celebrate Sharpologist’s tenth anniversary, Supply and Sharpologist will be giving away a Supply Single Edge Pro adjustable razor, courtesy of Supply!
