For Parents in the Kingston Area of Ontario
Recent communication sent to Ontario teachers of the Kingston Area from their union has been found to be very disturbing.
An email was sent to union members of the Ontario Secondary School Teachers Federation, which was procured by True North news. Teachers are being warned that they could face discipline for violating human rights if they are caught supporting ‘right wing’ political views, such as parental rights and expressing that there are “only two genders.”
We encourage you to view the article here to read the full story:

We encourage all parents in the district to contact the school board, and for those not in this particular district, be alert and aware as to what is going on in your child’s school district. In order to assist parents challenging school board decisions, you can access our How to Challenge the School Board, and Be an Effective Delegate guide on our website:

It is referenced to covid measures, but can be applicable to any situation.

To Parents in the Waterloo Region!
It has been brought to our attention that parents in the Waterloo region are receiving notices from Public Health that if their child’s vaccine status is not up to date by March 26, they will face suspension. This is a reminder that your child does not need to be vaccinated to attend school!
We are providing steps that are necessary to obtain an exemption. Don’t be bullied or threatened into vaccinating your children! This information is specific to Waterloo Region, but the steps are applicable to any region in Ontario or New Brunswick where exemptions are required.
Here are the steps required for a parent to complete an immunization exemption in Ontario for school-age children:
1. Watch the Vaccine Education video found on the Region of Waterloo Public Health website. Complete the form and electronically sign the attestation after the video to get your vaccine education certificate emailed to you. There is a fast forward option on the video. Print and complete
2. https://mamabearsproject.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/on-form.pdf form. You will need one form for each child that needs an exemption.
3. Take the completed form to a Commissioner of Oaths to have it signed and stamped. Photo ID with a signature is required (e.g. driver’s license, picture health card). Some offices require an appointment and some may charge a fee. A Commissioner of Oaths can be one of the following:
- Municipal Clerks or Deputy Clerks for your local municipality
- Members of the Provincial Government (MPPs)
- Provincial Judges
- Justices of the Peace
- Barristers or Solicitors licensed to practice law in Ontario
- Licensed Paralegals

This is a call to action!
Moms Against The Norms is requesting a very important CTA for us all to add our voices to regarding British Columbia’s terrifyingly inappropriate choice for the newly appointed Minister of Children and Family:
Please fill in the blanks to the letter below. Print it, as well as the attached image and snail mail to the address I have provided for you.
This is to request that the BC government reconsider their choice for the new Minister of Children and Family. This call to action takes a bit more effort and I truly hope you are all able to participate.
As always, your support and participation is greatly appreciated.
Sincerely,
Emily Duggan

To Whom it may concern, February 18, 2024
My name is ______ and I am a resident of British Columbia postal code ______. I write to you today as a matter of public interest regarding the proposed Minister of Children and Family, Grace Lore. Please accept this as my official complaint regarding Grace Lore receiving that position. I am aware that Ms Lore has publicly promoted violence towards the public at large via her social media platforms as well as in public with her choice of promotional clothing she wears. I insist it be noted and recorded that due to her desire to promote violence I find she is not only a poor choice for the position, but the wrong choice. When we put people in positions of leadership who promote violence in any way we risk that promotion inciting violent hate crimes in our communities. Please reconsider this choice for another candidate who has a stronger moral compass than Ms Lore has exemplified with her public engagements. I have attached a copy of a very concerning photo of Ms. Lore as evidence of my statements. While I understand Ms. Lore has removed this photo from her social media accounts, that does not change the fact that she chose to purchase a shirt that promotes weaponized violence and then proudly shared a photo of herself wearing it with the public. She left this post up until she was instructed to remove it. It is the responsibility of our leadership to act in a respectful manner to all whom they serve, even if our ideas and beliefs do not align. Ms. Lore has proven she is incapable of that.
Please confirm you have received this letter by responding to me via email at ______. I eagerly await your response.
Sincerely,
A very worried and concerned citizen of British Columbia
