Private Society Phone
MamaBears Project is proud to partner with Private Society to bring you a selection of affordable, secure cell phones designed for the privacy and security of your children, and your family.
Private Society has created an assortment of phone models to choose from, including small, call/text only phones (for younger children) to more advanced options suitable for teens and adults. You have the option to add access to the internet/social media as your child gets older to the text/call only Jellybean model.
These phones do not operate on a Google or Apple platform, and as such, do not require an account capable of tracking and targeting your child’s location or activity data, giving you peace of mind and total parental control.
Visit https://store.privacysociety.org/ to see how you can protect the privacy and safety of your children, with peace of mind.
Use promo code MAMABEARS at check out for a special $50 discount on your purchase which, in turn, will help support the MamaBears Project.
Are You or Someone You Know Pregnant?
We are thrilled to announce that in conjunction with CCCA, we have provided a Resource Guide to aid pregnant women, as well as new mothers who may be breastfeeding their newborns, as they speak with their doctors during checkups and other appointments. We have also put together a letter they can take with them to these appointments to share with their Healthcare Provider. This will introduce them to the evidence based Resource Guide, showing them evidence of the harm they may not be aware of. Within the letter the Healthcare Provider will also be provided with an email they are welcome to send any studies they would like evaluated that may counter the information found in the Resource Guide.
These will compliment the Covid-19 Shot Resource Guide found on our website.
You can find our Resource Guide here: https://mamabearsproject.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/Protect-Pregnancy-Resource-Guide-Jul-26-2023.pdf
And the downloadable letter to take with you, here: https://mamabearsproject.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/PPB-letter-to-HCPs-20231020.pdf
A recent CDC poll revealed that 45% of pregnant women were hesitant to ask their Doctor or Midwife questions during their prenatal appointments. This is why we have also included a questionnaire for pregnant women to download or print and take with them to their next prenatal appointment - to empower pregnant women to ask these necessary questions confidently, even if faced with argumentation. Included with each question is an answer, and where it is referenced in the above guide.

We know it can be incredibly daunting to sit in with a credentialed doctor who may not be aware or tuned into the true reality of what is happening to the health and wellbeing of us and our newborns, especially when they are against hearing the truth in these concerns. It is important to equip ourselves with knowledgeable information so that we can be confident and calm in these appointments, as we stand our ground for the health of our children. These resources can be of help to women as they attempt to sift through a copious amount of conflicting, and at times extremely overwhelming information regarding what is best for their child.
Remember that this can also be an opportunity to enlighten your doctor to the realities of these issues.
We are confident that these will be incredibly helpful to pregnant women and new mothers during these appointments. We ask that if you know anyone who is pregnant or has recently had a baby, to please share these beneficial resources with them.
Even if you do not, consider sharing it on social media to spread these resources far and wide to be shared with those who you may not know! You never know the life that could be saved by doing so.
Lastly, if any pregnant women are looking to connect with other like-minded pregnant and breastfeeding women, we welcome them to email network@mamabearsproject.com to join our telegram group. The support that these connections bring will go a long way in providing strength and encouragement to them throughout this journey.
Thank you immensely for your continued support as we support as many people as we possibly can. We are absolutely stronger together.
