We are pleased to announce the release of Maian Music v4.0. Please take note of the following:

- Maian Music releases from now will require a min PHP version of 8 to run. Older versions are no longer supported.

- Maian Music now uses the Latte template engine. The older Savant template engine, which we have used for years, has now been removed as it is way out of date and no longer updated. We felt now was a good time to go with something more modern and secure. Unfortunately, due to the different syntax, previous themes will not be compatible with Latte. Sorry for the inconvenience this may cause. 

- Payment gateways, where applicable, have been updated, so when upgrading make sure your gateway callbacks and/or api versions are up to date. Most notable change is for Paypal as we have removed the IPN system in favour of the Rest API.

- If this software had a database backup cron previously, it will no longer run, you should automate database backups at the server level, via a tool like RSync.
