3ds Max 2021.3 Update

3ds Max got an update. Autodesk has added new capabilities to the viewport and improved modeling efficiency. There have been enhancements made to popular modifiers and 3ds Max Retopology Tools. The new retopology tools can be used to reduce the poly count of high polygon assets.

What is Global Illumination and why is Light Mix not working?

First, we need to understand what Global Illumination is. Then we can look at what settings to use. Is using brute force too slow and you want to use Irradiance Map? But you can't get Light Mix working that way. I'll show you the workaround.
