Epic Games' 3Lateral Team Presents Short Film "Blue Dot"
Epic Games' 3Lateral team, in collaboration with Serbian artists, has created a short film titled "Blue Dot". The film, featuring a monologue by actor Radivoje Bukvić, was filmed at Take One studio's mocap stage. The team demonstrated the high fidelity achievable with MetaHuman Animator, using a stereo head-mounted camera system and traditional filmmaking techniques, with minimal interventions.
Adobe Releases 3D Stager 2.1.0 with Enhanced Features
Adobe has launched the latest version of its 3D Stager software, 2.1.0. The update includes a new AI denoiser, reducing rendering times by up to 99%, and improved animation and turntable authoring. Users can now directly export animations and turntables as MP4 videos or GIFs. The software also enhances its Universal Scene Description (USD) support, allowing for import and export of Stager specific elements.

RealityCapture 1.2.2: Enhanced 3D Imaging Software Now Available
The latest version of the 3D imaging software, RealityCapture 1.2.2, is now available. This update offers users more control to create 3D assets and environments from photos and scans. It features faster photogrammetry processing, more accurate textures, data preservation during cache crashes, smoother export process, and suppression of pop-ups when running in headless mode.
