Hi friends!

I want you to know that, due to staffing shortages, the hospital pushed Catherine‘s heart catheterization to early tomorrow (Tuesday) morning (which is late tonight, eastern time). Catherine has actually already arrived at the hospital, and she will remain there until Thursday or Friday. We trust that this is all in God‘s perfect timing. Please keep praying!

Speaking of God’s ways, here’s an encouraging story… a teenager we recently rescued was crying every day at the safe home. The staff came to realize she was missing her brother terribly. The brother had run away from home years ago, been picked up on the street, and placed with an unknown organization. She didn’t even know if her brother was still alive. With only a few clues, Doreen was able to find the organization. It was actually nearby, and founded by a fellow Compassion International alumni whom Doreen had known years ago!! Here is a short clip of the children’s reunion. Thanks to God’s amazing ways, the young lady is doing much better and is now even enrolled in a catering class! God loves these girls and He is always working!!
