A wide door for effective work

While rescue is necessary, prevention is better. To this end, workshops are held by Lupins in communities with great need. While the workshops have multiple focuses, the purpose is to glorify God and end child sexual abuse and trafficking. This year, these workshops will be held in 3 communities.

Recently, a dear friend of Lupins, named Lucy, led a workshop on how the Gospel transforms shame.

85 women, 11 men, and at least 30 children attended (our counselor, Patra, did a special class for the children). The hardest moment for the women was when Lucy talked about forgiveness.

During the workshop, at least 50 people committed their lives to Jesus Christ.

Each profession of faith is followed up by our staff. During follow-up, one lady expressed that she now knows, regardless of her circumstances, that God has chosen her and He is cleansing her. We are excited to see this healing continue as we begin biweekly discipleship groups with the women who made professions of faith. It will be a joy to see them grow, and be transformed, through Christ and His Word. So far, 36 women have expressed interest in this discipleship group, and Doreen expects this number to grow.

At the workshop, Lupins was also able to meet physical needs by providing 45 kits to pregnant mothers and assisting 60 people via our medical clinic.

I hope you are filled with joy as you see the far-reaching impact of your gifts. I am ever grateful for your sacrificial giving. And I am also thankful for Doreen and her staff, who wisely steward these resources.

May God continue to work through your gifts as we seek to bring Him glory while fighting to end child sexual abuse and trafficking.

He is King, and He is good.

We Serve a Mighty God,

Kristen

P.S. We would still greatly benefit from your monthly partnership, as we work together to bring an end to child sexual abuse and trafficking
