If you're newer to my stories, you can expect to enjoy spooky dystopian situations coupled with complicated, realistic characters.

This year, I've had the chance to talk with so many of you at book events and signings, including Writers on the River and Tremendicon, and I really love how many conversations we've had about characters who are complicated.

That brings me to an important question:
