This year, I was lucky enough to participate alongside many talented designers in Teinturluree's « Calendrier de l'Après ».
Among the skeins and other fantastic goodies, you could find two patterns, including the Vinterblomst socks pattern, created by yours truly🥰
Directly inspired by Baltic knitting, Vinterblomst is a toe-up sock, with an afterthought heel. The particularity of this design lies in this wide band of colorwork on the leg, surrounded by two Latvian braids.
And if you want to go all out, you can use your contrast yarn left over and add a pretty braid adorned with tassels 😍
And why not choose this pattern as your first cast-on of the year? By the way, I'd like to take this opportunity to wish you a wonderful year, full of laughter, joy and knitting of course 🙏🏻
