Happy November, y’all! I hope this newsletter finds everyone well. It’s cooling off here, but it’s going to be in the 60’s maybe even 70’s today and through early next week. I’ll take it after five days of miserably cold weather. It didn’t get out of the 40’s. I know some of y’all are thinking, “That’s not cold,” but for me it is. My poor Texas blood doesn’t know what to do with this. It even snowed once but was gone by midafternoon.
So, Thanksgiving will be here soon for us Americans. My boyfriend, neighbor, and I are going to get together and have a meal like we usually do. My family is too far away. I would rather be home for Christmas than Thanksgiving, so I wait until December to go home.
In book related news, I’m stuck somewhere between the midpoint and dark night of the soul, so I’ve gone back to my plot board and am doing a detailed outline. One of my writing coaches gave me a 27-chapter method outline where you go through and answer questions. It’s helpful and helps me see the story in its most basic form. Which is what I need right now.
That’s all from me this month. I want to wish everyone a happy Thanksgiving if you celebrate and I’ll see y’all in December.
