Hi !

Happy 2024 everyone! I hope everyone had a fantastic Christmas and New Years. I went back to Texas for the holidays to be with my family. It was so nice being home again. And I loved the warmer weather. Nebraska had a four day snow storm while I was in Texas. All I could think was “neener, neener.”

I spent Christmas eve with my dad and Christmas day with my mom. On the 28^th, I went to my best friend’s house and stayed there until the 31^st. I spent New Years Eve and New Years Day driving back to Nebraska. My New Years Eve was spent in a hotel room eating Braums and chilling alone. For those of you who don’t know what Braum’s is, it’s a burger joint. Think Sonic but better.

Inkers Con is coming up in June. It’s a writer’s conference in Plano, Texas. 2023 was my first year attending. I’m hoping to have book two released by then so I can have copies for the book swap. I’m getting close. Just got to work out the third act twist and the resolution. I know what they are, it’s just getting them written in a way I like.

So I’ll be working on getting book two finished by February to send off to my editor. I’m hoping Kiara is done fighting me just about every step of the way. She’s been a real pain with this book.

I hope everyone has a great January and I’ll see y’all in February.
