"I can't see where my money is going to", he said.

On Sunday, I was having a deep conversation with one of my fellow church members. I will prefer to call him Johnson for privacy sake.
Johnson shared with me how few months ago, he thought his life would be better when he starts making a certain amount of money in a month.
Now, he makes more money than that, and he still feels broke, even more than it felt then.
Guess what? Johnson is yet to marry. So, he already feels sorry for himself, and his fiance because it looks as if he won't be able to take care of her.
As he was talking, I felt his pain. It was easy for me to diagnose one of Fred's problems.
Fred underplayed a problem that affects every human being when our income level changes.
The problem is Lifestyle Inflation. When we get an increase in our earnings, we tend to inflate our lifestyle.
All of a sudden, the food we used to eat now becomes poisonous to us, emotionally. Our neighborhood now feels unsafe to us. Our cars now feel unfit for us.
Why? Because human wants are insatiable.
So, we are more likely to want more things and a better life.
However, there are sacrifices we pay for the lives we want.
So, if we don't deal with habits such as that, we will remain broke forever.
Because, we will always keep increasing our expenses as our income increases.
Want to know other habits that can keep Nigerians broke forever, so you can work on anyone of them?
