Kia ora koutou and warm greetings

Thanks to those of you who attended our last meeting held on 16 Sep 2025. We discussed how the 24 character strengths are spread across six virtue categories: wisdom, courage, humanity, justice, temperance, and transcendence. We also discussed how character strengths are developmental and should inform, not dictate, career choices. Participants shared real-life applications of their own strengths and we had a breakout activity using the STAR method to integrate strengths into interview responses. The session highlighted the importance of linking strengths to practical use, and concluded with each participant choosing a strength to focus on for the week.
