Change to Backorder Policy

Starting in Campaign 12, we will discontinue the ability to backorder from a previous campaign.

For many representatives this will not be a huge change, but there are a couple of things you'll want to watch for.

Keeping up with Free Gifts

Ever get a shipment in and sort out all your customer's orders and have products left over and don't know who they should go to? Those are usually free gifts that are part of one of our many special offers.

To avoid the mystery when I'm bagging orders I watch for the pink special offer call out whenever I see a special offer on the product page or in the shopping bag when I'm checking out. I make a note of what the gift is and what the customer had to purchase to qualify, then I can add the item to the customer's invoice.

Sometimes I will get a free gift because multiple customer's orders combined qualified for the offer. In those cases I'll add the gift to my inventory to be used later as a demo, to make samples, give as a gift or even sell it.
