Ongoing stories and updates

Hi!

I hope you're doing well. :) Here, I'm okay, but it's been hot, and I don't deal well with heat. So my body believes that I shouldn't work that hard. At least not on my writing projects. Not that I haven't written. I have. I just haven't finished a new book besides the one already in pre-order.

I was hoping to finish Mermaid Blood, but I had the great idea of starting a rejecting mate shifter romance, and I'm on 9k words already. Not a lot, I know, but I'm having fun with this. I even have the cover for it, and it's gorgeous and hot, and I'm not going to show you yet. It's going to be published under one of my other pen name.

Oh, I almost forget. I have uploaded an ongoing story to Inkitt, and you can read it as I write it. I'm going to try and update it regularly since the last time I did this, I finished a new book in a couple of weeks. So, maybe, having people read, comment, and tell me what they think about the plot and characters will help me finish it quickly.

Meanwhile, I'm in a dilemma with my Fairytales with a Bite.

I removed it from everywhere because I wanted to revamp the covers, but I'm not happy with them. Well, that's because I'm thinking maybe, just maybe, I should go for a symbol cover. But there are so many of them already... and I really have no idea what to ask as a symbol other than a... drum roll... a mirror. Only the ones who read the story will get this. So yeah... mirrors and roses all over... How original, right?

Still, I can't leave these stories unpublished for so long, especially because I had so much fun proofreading Moonlight Beauty and falling all over again for Belle and Drake. They are sooo cute!!!

But then I didn't have any more time to go over the rest of the stories because I'd been busy with work.

And this week, I have my fam here, since my brother is painting his house. They moved in temporarily, so I'm working less at night. Let's be real. I'm not working at night because the kid wants to sleep with me and doesn't allow me to get near my computer. And he likes to wake up at 7 am when he just falls asleep at midnight. Of course, that I stay looking at the ceiling while waiting for sleep to come... and then sleeping like 3 to 4 hours before the little bundle of energy wakes up and runs to the kitchen and welcomes the day with a bright smile.

Anyway, I'm going to read Of Magic and Seduction one last time since I have to upload the final file next week. Then I'm going to keep writing my shifter romance and updating on Inkitt my other mini-project with vampires, wolves, and a dragon running from her fated mate.

Have you been reading anything great lately? I have to confess that I've been reading but only what my friends ask me to read so I can give them some input. I'm going to rave a lot about an upcoming release, but today I'm just going to rave about something: Lost You Forever... OMG!

Though, The Mysterious Lotus Casebook is also one of my top favorites. Cheng Yi is such an amazing actor. *_*

Okay, the fangirling moment is over. I'm back to my normal self.

Wow, this is a huge update for someone who didn't have a clue what to write today.
