Hello hello ,

If Marie Kondo visited me right now she'd have a heart attack.

I'm writing to you from a house FULL of art and props and costumes - there are paintings everywhere, huge paper flowers, handpainted bowls, cups and vases, boxes of Art Tea Towels (10 designs this time!) AND a giant polystyrene wine bottle prop that's way taller than I am.

But very soon my house will be almost empty as we move everything to The Write Gallery for my September show which opens on Sunday 1 September. (The wine bottle is for a float in the Grand Central Floral Parade later in the month.)

So, what will you find at the Show?

1. Art. Brand new originals by me and my mother, Diana Battle. I'm VERY excited to show you the champagne series! There'll be prints too.
2. Art Tea Towels. Think of these as super-affordable, large art prints. The colours are so bright. They're gorgeous. I'll try to get some online too.
3. Stationery. We have love notes, greeting and gift cards, art supplies and fridge magnets... lots of lovely things.
4. Turkey Smugglers. These are board shorts 'For Men Who Are Bigger Than'. This is a family idea we had almost 6 years ago so I can't believe we've finally done it! Will share more when I have some photos.
5. AND an art vending machine, selfie wall, homewares, collaborations and displays... it'll be an experience. I'll share as best I can via Insta and Facebook.

Online Art Class Special

Commission

I've just finished a lovely big (1.5m long) commission for Hope Horizons, that will be hung at the Jenny Black Cancer Wellness Centre and I'll help make some merchandise for fundraising. There are so many symbols and layers in this painting. I'm delighted with how it turned out!

OK! Back to painting!

And building a Love Notes box. And packing up the things we're taking to Cabarlah Ladies Day this Saturday. It's a lovely event founded by friends of mine, raising money for Farm Angels. I'm very happy to support the day.
