Is CareShield Life enough for long-term care?

Hi ,
I came across a Straits Times article recently that reminded me of something important:
CareShield Life is a good foundation, but it is not meant to cover the full cost of long-term care.
Most of us know we have CareShield Life.
But not many people have checked whether the monthly payout would be enough if long-term care is needed one day.
The real cost of care may include helper support, home care, therapy, transport, daily care items, and sometimes even the hidden cost of a family member reducing work to help.
That is why I’m helping my clients think through this question:
“If long-term care is needed one day, will my family have enough monthly support?”
No need to decide anything now.
But it may be worth understanding what your current CareShield Life payout covers and whether there may be any care income gap.
Warm regards,
Zest
