Is Spinal Neuromodulation a Game Changer for CP?

Hi

I first heard whispers about spinal neuromodulation from Susan Hastings, and I’ll be honest, I didn’t really believe what she was saying.

It was Beverly (Billi) Cusick who referred me to Susan for a WiredOn Development interview. And to be real with you, if the referral hadn’t come from Billi, someone I deeply respect, I might have brushed off what Susan was saying like so many others did.

Back then in our first interview, Susan’s clinical observations were so new that she asked me not to share them publicly. We had to wait until she and Dr. Reggie Edgerton published their first paper before we could talk about it.

And what a ground breaking publication. It shone a spotlight on one of the most promising interventions for children with CP and developmental disabilities we’ve seen in decades.

Not just a panacea of managing symptoms, but a modality that actually changes the clinical picture in gigantic leaps.

Interviewing Susan and Reggie together is one of my all time favorite podcasts and if you haven’t heard it, you can hear the full story (and scroll down to read the publications) here >> https://www.wiredondevelopment.com/single-post/spiral-neuromodulation-in-cerebral-palsy-rehabilitation-for-physical-and-occupational-therapists

BUT...

Our interview was a a few years ago now and they’ve both learned so much since then that it's time to update our knowledge. So Susan and Reggie are teaming up to share their wisdom again.

And this time you’re invited to the conversation live!

We've gathered together a panel of clinicians with experience in using Transcutaneous Spinal Neuromodulation (TSN) and Casey - Susan’s very first patient whose progress began this whole journey - to explore this topic as a mini-summit. This isn’t hype. This is real evidence-based practice in action: research, clinical insight, and lived experience all coming together.

👉 Keep an eye on your inbox. I'll be sending more info on registering for this Clinical Advances in Spinal Neuromodulation Mini-Summit right to your inbox

It's sooooo exciting!
