Do you really know what you're doing with feet?

Hey !
How many times have you seen a post on Facebook asking what to do about over-pronation or toe-walking and equinus. When to intervene, SMO's or AFO's, hinged or solid?
As if there was an easy answer.
I want to pull my hair out. The questions show such a lack of depth of knowledge
But truth be told... I've been there!
A few years ago I was asking those same questions without really understanding how much baseline knowledge I was missing.
So no judgement here, just hair-pulling because I can't answer the question in a Facebook post without asking a TON of other questions that need to be asked because now I understand so much more.
And the only reason I understand it is because I've had the privilege of learning from the amazing Billi Cusick.
NOBODY teaches PTs and OTs about feet better than Billi 👣.
The orthopedic development, how to measure, monitor and manage those feet, that critical foundation we expect our kids to stand on. To look at feet with the depth of knowledge our families rightly expect from us. Not just like a technician prescribing a product using a flow chart or marketing pamphlet (or a Facebook recommendation).
It feels so good to be in a position where you understand EXACTLY what needs to be done and why it needs to be done. Billi's course gave me that and it has been a game changer!
Which is why I'm sharing this email today.
I don't often send email blasts out to everyone about courses that I am not personally involved in organizing or running, but I so strongly believe that EVERYONE should do a Billi course, that when I was asked if I could share this course info with the WiredOn Development crowd I said YES!
Because I LOVE having the skills and knowledge to REALLY understand feet and I know how impactful Billi has been in getting me there.
So if you have not yet had the opportunity to learn about Development and
Conservative Management of Pediatric Equinus Deformity and Serial
Casting with Billi, now is a great time!
The first part of the course is online and self-paced so you can do it from ANYWHERE (do it!!!!)
And the second part is in New York where you get an unmatched opportunity for hands-on learning.
Here's all the details:
The online didactic portion is on Billi's website and is self paced, and the lab portion in NYC is at the end of May.
There are two options for the labs: 2 days of foot assessments and posting and then 1 more day of serial casting (below knee) fabrication. Participants can either take all three days or just stop after the first two. But the online portion must be completed before coming to the labs.
There's a $30 discount code for the online portion that will be given to anyone who registers for the lab. And the early bird is until April 10.
The link to sign up for the course is www.ContinEU.org (All necessary links and information should be on there)
The link to Billi's online portion, which is a prep-requisite for the labs is: https://gaitways.com/pages/cusick-development-and-conservative-management-of-pediatric-equinus-deformity-part-1-on-demand-course
