Pollination Time & SSR Group Gathering Tomorrow
Mar 14, 2026 1:01 pm
Dear Community,
We were called to Vancouver Island, Jason's place of birth, about a decade ago. And in 2020, amidst the busy-ness of all that was being broadcast, we made the leap and packed a U-Haul truck with some of our belongings, left behind Jason's busy practices (located in Toronto and another in Brooklin), and drove across the country, from Ontario to land on the beautiful Vancouver Island.
Since being here, our reverence and appreciation - for the land, majestic trees, water that surrounds us, the beautiful wild life including the birds, bees and butterflies - has deepened immensely. We're in awe on a daily basis. As we spend more time in nature, one cannot help but fall into its rhythm rather than the superficial constructs that our current reality has created and operates in (remember the earlier email that we sent out speaking on the creation of various calendars hence bringing into question our concept of time).
And when we witness the large trucks packed with huge thick logs - the remains of the old growth trees here, or the developers continually blasting rocks and pulling trees from their roots to clear the land for continuous development, our heart breaks.
What we've realized is that the more quiet we get, the less busy and distracted we are, and the more we spend time in nature...we can't help but feel more emotions arising when we see how nature is treated all around us. There is a deep knowing of our connection to nature and a realization that how nature is treated has a direct connection to our own existence.
How is it that we enjoy the song birds and our bees, yet we're okay with the dangerous levels of emf radiation that directly affect the pollinators' vulnerable biology? In some places in our country, they've even come up with names for the illnesses that birds are experiencing.
Can we see that the ever increasing chemicals that are sprayed (in our skies, our soil and foods, our waters) are contributing to the degradation of our collective quality of life? Yet, aside from the agencies that are responsible for the global contracts, we the people are also continuing to spray the 'weeds' on our lawns, and we've even come up with artificial grass to cover our ground for aesthetic sake. Can we begin to see how we treat our soil, water and plants, directly affects our own physical, mental and emotional wellbeing?
So what do we do? When we begin to tune in more deeply to the deep rift that exists between nature and ourselves, what first arises? Perhaps apathy, confusion, frustration, despair, sadness, anger? This is okay. As we discussed within our conversation with the brilliant neuroscientist, Dr Jill Bolte Taylor it takes time for emotions (energy-in-motion) to move through our bodies. And if we've repressed them for a long time, or are even inevitably tapping into the collective energy, there is a lot that is moving through. No Problem. Can we just allow ourselves the time and space to FEEL, and allow the emotions to move through?
We don't need to make it better. Fix it. Make it more positive. Analyze it. Just let it move through.
And what are we then left with? The realization that we are ultimately here to contribute to some small, or large part of the change that is needed in our world.
Can we show up? Can we take our place? Can we say 'yes' to that which calls us forth?
And back to our poster above...with the help of our children, we've created a poster to post on our community board, a.k.a. post box. What initially brought on frustration and dismay, has instigated a desire to educate and inform our community.
So as we continue to feed our birds, thank the land for its abundance and generosity, plant seeds to nourish our own bodies as well as support our bees and other pollinators, we also recognize our role as contributors and protectors of nature.
Feel free to share the above poster on social media or share with family and friends if it resonates. Get informed about the important health benefits of plants (that we mistakenly categorize as just 'weeds') for they are often rich with nutrients that help to clean our air and support our immunity.
And please don't be afraid to feel!! Just find the time and space alone and undisturbed and be with yourself and allow the feelings to move through while you align to a deep wisdom within your own being. Know that within the well of your own heart, there lies deeper instructions as to what you may do, say or embody to remedy what we witness at this time in our world. Bring more of YOU into our world. Pollination time is not just for the birds and bees. YOU are needed!
With love and appreciation for your presence here,
Téa & Jason
Dear Community,
A reminder that we gather as a community tomorrow for our StillPoint Scalar Repatterning Group.
The link to join Sunday's coherence gathering can be found below. We start at 11:30am Pacific Time (2:30pm Eastern Time). Please arrive 5 minutes early.
These weekly gatherings give everyone an opportunity to join in to the StillPoint Scalar Repatterning (SSR) Group Coherence space together for about 30 to 45 minutes.
This space has been shown to help people feel more grounded, lower stress, improve decision making skills, connect more deeply to their intuition and even sleep better.
No experience necessary. Everyone is welcome.
