Is Your Body Able to Regenerate??

Sep 10, 2026 6:33 pm

Dear Community,

Without really being aware of it, most people spend their entire lives in growth mode.

Generally, our society tends to over-consume. From the moment most of us wake up until we go to bed, we are constantly consuming food, information, stimulation, notifications, media, and stress. Our body is continually being asked to digest, process, store, respond, and adapt…with almost no time or space dedicated to truly integrate, reflect and repair.

Yes, growth mode is an important and necessary part of life. It allows us to build, create, learn, and respond to the demands of our environment. The challenge comes, like all things, when it gets out of balance and you rarely create the conditions needed for the body to fully shift into repair mode.

In a past podcast episode conversation with quantum physicist, Dr. Amit Goswami shared with us a concept he called, "Do - Be - Do - Be - Do - Be - Do." He explained how most of us live in the "Do" part of this process where we are constantly doing, acting, efforting and consuming, this is very much like the growth mode that I am talking about. But in order to maintain balance and access deeper levels of intuition, awareness and healing we must integrate the "Be" within our lives. During this part of the process, we must slow things down, be still and significantly decrease our overall consumption. The "Be" that Dr. Goswami speaks about reminds me of our innate "repair mode".

Repair mode is where some of the body's most remarkable self-healing processes become more active. One of these is called, autophagy, often described as your body's cellular cleanup and recycling system. During this process, damaged proteins, worn out cellular components, and accumulated cellular debris can be identified, broken down, and recycled. This is absolutely paramount in your ability to self-heal.

When your body is continually focused on growth, storage, digestion, and processing, there will naturally be fewer opportunities for these important housekeeping processes to occur. Over time, this can lead to an accumulation of toxic burden that may affect your energy, resilience, clarity, recovery, and long-term vitality.

To begin the process of turning on your super powered repair mode, we invite you to first ponder a couple of questions:

Where am I currently overconsuming? Think of this in terms of food, stimulants, substances, screens, information or experiences.

What is habit versus what is hunger? What we have noticed first hand is that most of what we crave is out of habit and not actual bodily requirements. Take note of what is going on in your world, your thoughts and your emotions when you get the desire to consume something specific, whether that be a desired food or substance or the itch to check email, text or look onto the news or social media.

The good news is that your body already knows how to activate these repair pathways. It simply requires the right conditions and opportunities to do what it was designed to do. This is just part of the miracle that is your body.

Cleanse starts September 27th! Sign-up begins NEXT WEEK!

5am visit with the turtles to see their journey from the ocean to land as they lay their eggs in the sand.

And back to the ocean these gentle quiet giants go. What a gift to be in their presence and witness their disposition and pace, which seems to be the opposite of our current world. Much to learn from these ancient beings.

If you think any loved ones would benefit from these emails, forward these newsletters to friends and family. Thanks for being here!

Stay inspired,
