Project Recipe: A Map, Timeline, & Story: Two Ways

Project recipe for storytelling frame & online exploration

As a family historian or genealogist, you've probably struggled to get your extended family excited about the discoveries you've made in your research. We've got an idea for you.

Join our community for this new series as we explore a variety of digital family history projects that promise to not only hold their interest but also capture their imagination.

During this free one-hour program, Barbara will walk through a “recipe” for a real project from concept to implementation. With a little Julia Child-like magic, you'll see how a digital project can come together to share a family story.

Keeping our focus on the five essential elements of digital family history projects, you'll also see how the project details are mindful of key requirements like privacy and archiving.

At the conclusion of the program, you'll get not only access to a recording of the session and a copy of the “recipe” but also the opportunity to discuss the project and variations with other members of the community in our free forum. Join us, won't you?
