Hi,
For those of you not interested in the Writers' Infostack, I apologise for cluttering up your week. In my quest to interest readers in my fiction, I'm trying various avenues, and this one, at least, did not cost me anything other than a commitment to email the advertising for a week. So, it's done and dusted. And for those of you who purchased it, I do hope you gain a wealth of information.
My home-front story this time is, as promised, called Chicken Run. Click the image to read it.
I couple of weeks back I received an email from someone who downloaded Death of a Dream, who was disappointed (irritated!) to discover it wasn't a full novel... It is a longish short story, and when I wrote it, I never intended it to be otherwise. However, I took note. At the moment I don't want to take the time to expand on the Death of a Dream story as I'm well into another full novel (The Silence of Children). The work was intended to be a showcase for my writing, so I thought, OK, put more writing in there. So, I've upgraded this work into an anthology containing several short stories, poetry, short fiction, muses, a play, a memoir, and a fun soap. It is an eclectic mix of commercial and literary writing. Some of this work has been published in magazines, literary magazines, or newspapers. Some has never seen the light of day. Most is on my website at the moment, but I might change that and divert people towards the free book. If you'd like the expanded version, click on the image. I'd love feedback. And, of course, do let me know of any errors so that I can continue to bring this to a well-edited state. I would much rather hear from you now, than later from comments in online reviews.
And here are the book offers. As always, I cannot vouch for quality (except for my own books!), only quantity, as I have not read most of them. I do try to read a couple each week, and review, as part of the whole Indie process.
If you wish to unsubscribe, click the link at the foot of this email. But I hope you'll stay with me, read my stories and review them and, if not, simply enjoy my storyboards.
All the best
Chris Lewando
