Hi Everyone,

Happy New Year. I hope this year brings you clarity, growth, and a few meaningful moments along the way.

As I was reflecting on some lessons from my past, I dove into some interesting memories. Maybe you have done that yourself and understand that you realize how have far you come.

I grew up in the late 60s and in the 70s as a young child, in a world where kids were seen and not heard around adult activities and parties. Back then, discussing your learning disabilities or physical handicaps could land you in unfriendly institutions. We didn’t know much about how to work with people who had these challenges.

I was lucky. My family kept me out of those environments and fought to get me the help I needed to get through school.

Even then, I was always outspoken and ahead of my time, especially in how I shared about my learning disability. I chose to give my learning disability a voice and not let it define me or hold me back. I learned not to set limits, but to set possibilities instead. I chose not to listen to the limits other people tried to set for me.

I rose above the noise and steered my own path, and I’m grateful I did. I’m glad I decided not to let the negative stories from others control who I’m meant to be.

The lesson I received in 2025 was about letting go of what doesn’t serve us.

Now, with more clarity and confidence, I’m stepping into 2026 with a clear understanding of the direction I want to take my life and my business. I’m looking forward to ringing in the new year with my family at home.

Here’s to a journey with a lot more tomorrows to enjoy.
