Thought for the day...
A Jewish man was traveling when he was attacked by bandits. They beat him up, stripped him of his clothes and left him alongside the road as dead. The temple assistant and the priest ignored the man. Along came a Good Samaritan and he bandaged his wounds and cared for him. The Good Samaritan came from a despised race of people, which the Jews hated, yet he showed compassion for the Jewish man and got involved.
What is the moral to the story? Don't stand on the sidelines like the self-righteous...get involved and show compassion for others.
Serving Christ,
Mary
